Israel-Palestine

So following WW1 Great Britain and France created territories out of what was the Ottoman

Empire, Palestine took up all the area that is now Israel. Following WW2 in 1947 the Brits

pulled out and left the UN to divide Palestine into Israel (Jewish States) and Palestine (Arab

States)... In 1967 there was a huge war and Israel expanded those borders and claimed the

Sinai Peninsula and much of the pre-described "Arab States." My question is where did

"Palestine" go? If the Arab States were knocked out except for the Gaza strip (backed by

Egypt) and today the Gaza Strip has a population of 1,657,155 (2011) for only 139 sq miles,

how can you think there won't be fighting and confusion about whose home it is?
