Terrorist?

PAGAN TERRORIST

During the Pre-Revolutionary War era, American Indians coordinated ambushes on early settlers, attacked convoys and burned villages in an attempt to regain their homeland from a foreign Western influence. We look back and realize why they did this and attempt to sympathize. What would you do if I kicked you out of your home and called it MY home?

Why then is it so hard to see what the Palestinians are fighting for... and why do they not deserve the same sympathy? Because they put a cloth over their hair or face? Indians put paint on their face and feathers in their hair... really? Because they bow down all together in prayer to the same God you worship? Indians had gods and goddesses for such things as bird spirits, rain and tricksters. Because they use RPG's and guns. Indians guerrilla tactics are the thing of legend. Powerful nations of their time attacked in civilized droves face-to-face, while Native American's attacked with crude weapons riding on horseback or while running through the woods.

I get tired of the word terrorist. I believe that those extremists who attack for no other reason than to instill fear in the hearts and minds of innocent people, deserve to be hunted down and brought to justice for their crimes. But hasn't it gotten to a point where the media throws this term around loosely and carelessly? What ever happened to words like militia, civil unrest, fighter, or warrior? Is everyone fighting for nothing other than to cause fear? Or do they have a cause, one we don't agree with, so we label them terrorists to make them a common foe. Just saying.
